She works for Savannah Bee Company while pursuing her Pharmacy degree at Armstrong. He's a Gulfstream engineer with a passion for craft beer. They both love things that purr -- whether it's her sweet kitty Thea or his current car obsession.
In between the hops and honey and cars and kitties, their love for all things Savannah runs deep. In the two years they've lived in this gorgeous city, the streets of Historic Downtown and the Spanish moss at Forsyth Park have become the setting for their love story. I've known these two since high school, but it was here in Savannah that I got to watch their love grow over brunches at Papillote, strolls around downtown, and drinks at World of Beer. They couldn't be more perfect for each other, and I know they have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them.
Cheers, Carlos and Emily! <3
I adore personal touches throughout a wedding day, and Carlos' Decepticon socks were a great way to kick off the day.
Emily opted for two pairs of shoes to get her through the day--a sparkly pair of Steve Madden flats for the ceremony, and then she switched to Converse kicks so she could comfortably dance the night away.
The moment before the First Look is pure excitement and happiness!
There is nothing I love more than a wedding ceremony under an oak tree, and Chatham Square has some truly magnificent oaks!
Fun fact: Curt Deming was the officiant, and he was my AP History teacher in high school.
Heading to the ceremony in style...
