Hey sweet friends! How’s your Thursday evening treating you? Mine is rainy and filled with takeout from Green Truck Pub, which is kind of an ideal evening if you ask me. Sometimes there is nothing better than hunkering down for a cozy night in!
Apt. B has had some exciting things going on lately, such as a secret elopement and a styled shoot with Ivory + Beau–none of which I can show you yet!! (Gah!) But, that’s not all…

I CAN tell you one little piece of lovely news–I’m officially a Featured Photographer on WeddingWire! Yep, it’s as exciting as it sounds (to me at least!)…but in the spirit of full disclosure–I didn’t do anything to earn this sweet spot. Being a featured photographer is something that wedding photographers pay for–it’s one of the many pieces of our marketing plans. (As much as we wish it was all about taking pretty pictures, we also have to keep running a real business in between all the loveliness.)

Having a WeddingWire featured profile has a lot of perks, but mainly it makes it easier for brides who are planning a Savannah destination wedding to find me. Planning a wedding from afar is always tricky, but WeddingWire puts lists of amazing vendors in any city right at a bride’s fingertips. Kind of genius!

And, on top of just generally being helpful to brides, WeddingWire also has a couple of excellent features that are making me really happy…

1) Clients and other wedding vendors can now leave official reviews for me! I will still have the Love Letters page on my website, but your reviews can now go toward my official Wedding Wire review ranking. I have already received a few of the sweetest reviews (I truly couldn’t ask for better clients or fellow wedding vendors!!), and if you’ve worked with me in the past, now you can leave one too! (And if you do, I will virtually high-five you and then probably tackle you with a bear hug next time I see you.) Just click here to leave me some love. <3

2) And, even better–soon the contracting and billing process when you book a wedding with Apt. B will be muuuuch simpler! I will be offering all of that annoying necessary legal stuff through my WeddingWire account in the near future. I don’t have it all set up quite yet, but it’s coming soon and you’ll be the first to know once the new system is live. Think digital contract signatures and quick and easy retainer deposits…I mean, it’s 2015, right? Ain’t nobody got time to mail a check. 😛
